Introducing Eyrolles Law PLLC

My name is Aubrey Eyrolles, and I am a first-generation college graduate and first-generation attorney who deeply believes in the necessity of providing legal services to people who cannot afford the traditional rates that many attorneys charge. When I graduated law school, I went to work for a public defender’s office in rural West Texas where I represented indigent individuals who had been charged with a crime. I loved standing up in court to defend my clients’ Constitutional rights, but I also felt like I was doing a disservice to each of my clients because of my outrageously high case loads. I did not have any control over my case loads, and I did not have the power to create more than 24 hours in a day, so I felt deeply unsatisfied with the role I was playing in the criminal justice system. The public defense system is broken, and it does damage to nearly everybody who touches it. I deeply felt that there must be a better way to provide necessary legal services to folks, so I quit that job and got to work on figuring out exactly what that looks like.

When I moved to Oklahoma, a state that I am so proud to call my home, it came to my attention that Oklahomans suffer from many of the same problems that I saw in Texas. There are huge gaps in legal services, mostly in rural areas and amongst folks who cannot afford attorneys. Oklahoma does not have enough attorneys to help with all the legal needs in this state, so I decided to jump in and set up a firm that would help folks with some of their basic civil legal needs. My legal services are meant to be extremely affordable for people who qualify for Legal Aid and for people who make too much to qualify for Legal Aid but are not in a position to spend a ton of money to hire an attorney.

To qualify for Legal Aid in Oklahoma, your income must be at or below 125% of the federal poverty level, which breaks down to this:

  • Household of 1: Your solo income is $19,563 or less

  • Household of 2: Your total household income is $26,438 or less

  • Household of 3: Your total household income is $33,313 or less

  • Household of 4: Your total household income is $40,188 or less

Those incomes qualify you for Legal Aid, but unfortunately Legal Aid does not have enough attorneys to help everybody who qualifies. Not only that, but what if you are a household of 4 and you make $50,000 a year? You still have legal needs, but you are living in a household that does not have a lot of extra money to spend on lawyers. I understand this, and I am here to help. Please take a look at the other parts of my website and reach out to me if you need help. If I cannot provide legal services for your exact issue, I will try to refer you to an attorney who can. If I can help you, it will not be free, but it will not destroy your wallet either.
